Vision: The vision of the National Innovation Challenge is to promote research and innovation on road safety in India and help transform feasible solutions into practical outcomes through funding and institutional support.
Tentative Action Plan: Khimavath Haridhar Foundation envisages organizing a National Level Innovation Challenge Competition for College Students and Graduates on Road Safety in India. The participants may target a specific issue related to road safety and propose technological or non-technological solutions to address the same. The competition may be conducted in partnership with IIT Madras. A reputed jury shall adjudge the winners of the competition. Apart from awarding the winners, the top solutions shall be taken up for implementation. Based on the nature of the solution (Technological, Policy, Information, etc), appropriate funding or/and institutional support shall be provided.
